[Project H.E] Lycie

Coloring my old sketch xD

It has been a long time since I last looked back at this project. I still like it, though now I hardly concentrate on this. I still haven't finish it, even the character designs (actually I have sketches for all of them but I'm lazy drawing their concept arts=.= )

Btw, this is just a sub character, or precisely, she is a random character I add to the story to make it more complex Lol
Still, I like her design.
I tried to use my old coloring style which is based on MMZX but I think I have failed already (still stuck with Elsword's basic coloring style xD). However, it's interesting to give it a try _{easier a lot than drawing Elsword's stuff}

And, as any character I have created, this is a "brief" profile for her xDDD (ok, you don't need to care about this much, especially her relationship. It's just something I came up in my mind)

Characteristic: She is frail and timid but on the outside she can give people an impression of a cold girl. She usually dons her poker face, which is emotionless or tedious, since she rarely smile. In fact, she has difficulty expressing her emotions, though at some times when Altairow shows his care to her, she can be easily embarrassed. With such a personality, Lycie can be seen as a boring girl, as Noir comments, also fitting her theme as a loyal marionette. She seems to lack of her independence, especially when being with Altairow, and her decisiveness and courage every time she confronts Noir. However, in some rare cases, she can act with her own will, and can be very fearsome and reckless when she is angry.

Relationship:
Altairow Heirmes: Lycie extremely respected and admired him, not only because he held a higher rank and more powerful but also he had showed his great care for her and always been with her and protected her when she needed. For Lycie, Altairow was a benefactor, a father, and probably a lover, though she knew it was just her own feeling. However, she had sworn to be loyal to Altairow, and she would do anything as long as it was his will.

Noir Raven: It's not really that Lycie hated him but she was very scared of him, as she tried to avoid him at all cost when he was around. The reason is because Noir always looked down on her, mistreated her and usually bullied her with his barbarous torments. She didn't dare to stand against him, as she kept in mind that Noir was her highest boss with dominant power, and she knew how importance he was in Altairow's heart, so do his will to be loyal to him. Hence, what Lycie could do was tolerating Noir's cruelty and inhumanity, and she usually ended up being beaten very badly (she could had died if Altairow didn't show up and stop Noir.) She was also loyal to Noir.

Corneille Yamikuro: Somehow, this is Lycie's only friend. Corneille (or Neil in short) was very friendly and sympathized to her. She usually helped Lycie, played with her, cooked for her, and "listened" to her (Lycie couldn't talk so she usually write to confess when she didn't want to use her telepath ability.) Neil usually protected her if she saw Noir's bad intention of bullying Lycie. That's why Lycie could trust her and she also learned how to open her heart to everyone, at least in the order.

Backstory:
Lycie was a survivor of a Maverick's raid. Originally she had lived in a small peaceful town, but then one day, every thing in her care was destroyed in a brief moment as she could remember. The Mavericks attacked her homeland, killed anyone in their path, attempting to eradicate everything. Only Lycie had survived but she was on her verge of death. The poison of the area affected her, damaging her throat which made her cannot talk later. Exhausted and despaired, she tried to find a way to escape the area in hopelessness and loneliness. Her life lingered on unknown day of doom. At the end when she couldn't move, a group of remaining Mavericks found her. They shot her but barely missed, only damaging severely her left arm. When Lycie gave up all her hope and watched her death coming near, the group of Mavericks was killed. Altairow found her, and brought her back to Darkness's Headquarter.

He brought her to Mirroiru's (another Elite in the order) lab, asked the woman to find a way to save her. Mirroiru while finding way to cure her found out that Lycie had a potential of telepath just like her yet not being awaken, so she wanted to make an exchange. Mirroiru would attach to Lycie's body a machine arm powered by a piece of Hell Crystal. That way would save her and help her later since her left arm had lost. In exchange, Mirroiru wanted to use Lycie as her puppet, which meant she could use her body freely and indirectly on the battlefield since she didn't like much going outside her lab but still caring about what happened, both in the world and in the order. Later, she discovered that her connection to Lycie was weirdly strong that she could transfer her abilities and fuse with Lycie's to fight even in a certain distance. This also triggered Lycie's full ability later, even she could use telepath on her own and reject the help of Mirroiru.

When Lycie returned to the Headquarter, Altairow welcomed her and let her in his squad regardless of Noir's disapproval and grudge. He continued taking care of her, trained her, helped her when she was in troubles, especially with Noir. He let her help him take care of Noir's mansion, and usually asked her to guard the place when he and Noir were out.

Trivia:
- The reason why Noir hold grudge on Lycie is because he saw her as a useless and nothing more a lifeless item. Also, seeing Altairow's effort caring for such a handicap like her made him annoyed. He considered that Lycie was the reason that could make Altairow distracted, so he didn't wanted her around. Hence, he always bully her even when she just made a small mistake (or sometimes with no reason.)
- Lycie main ability is telepath and borrowed power through Mirroiru's connection. However, she has a yoyo working as her weapon along with her martial arts.
- She shows to have a fond with stuff dolls. She was usually seen playing with a stuff bear which she held precious as it was a birthday gift from Altairow.</sub>
